A Canadian lynx feeds on a road-killed moose carcass in northern BC // Gitxsan territory. Typically lynx are hunting and preying on snowshoe hare and other small mammals. So as you can imagine, this lynx got incredibly lucky to score a moose all to themselves heading into a long and cold winter.
I have always had a bad blood circulation. My doctor told me it was because I had « Viking blood » basically, to avoid loosing heat, blood does not reach my extremities. I m not sure this is 100% true but it is kinda fun and I am almost never cold. The video was recorded in my room where the temperature was 21 degrees Celsius.
My sister and me bought a thermal camera and we made this little experiment with an ice bath, in which i put my hand in. We thought it was really cool how you can see the blood turning cold in the veins. And also the hand warming up afterwards. The watermark is sadly from the camera (because its not the most expensive) but you can easily edit it out. theres also an already shorter version attached with the best parts. He usually buries pieces of bread between the cushions till the skin on his nose starts to bleed which is very strange. This time he was burying the bone in water at least there was no bloodshed this time.
I saw a green gecko crawling near its own tail that just fell off and was still flopping around. (The gecko is able to shed its tail which still moves for several minutes after; it’s used as a defense mechanism, causes no harm to the gecko, and the tail eventually grows back.) In this video, the gecko grabs its own tail which is very much unattached and still moving and then runs away with it.

Blood. This is a video of me donating red blood cells and them putting the plasma back into my body. The dark red color on the tube becomes light colored. A interesting fact is that when they put it back into my body, It was room temperature. So it made me feel cold.
