I found this cool effect today in the sky on my flight to Tromsø in Norway. Apperently its called cloud Iridesence and comes from ice crystals in the sky that the sun reflects through.
Filmed this clip of really bright iridescent clouds from a rooftop in Oslo. Suddenly a lot of crows started flying above me, making it kind of an eerie vibe.
These beautiful clouds appeared today and are called in norwegian "perlemorskyer" and in english the phenomenon is called cloud iridescence. I think in this case, they turned to a beautiful sky canvas.

Hi Daily Dose of Internet I’m a huge fan! Never felt like I’ve captured anything cool enough to submit over the years until now. I saw this trippy cloud coming off the 91 West freeway and took the Wilmington exit to film. My girlfriend and I dispute it being a feather cloud or iridescent cloud. Hope it’s good enough for a feature!

This is the first time me seeing something different yet so mesmerising in the sky. Later I got to know that it is an iridescent cloud. This was on 14th of October, 2022.

Music. One of my favorites are tropical begonias. These plants developed a breathtaking strategy to survive in the depths of the forest where not much light is available. They basically shatter the light by little crystals below the leaf epidermis. This grants the plant a higher photosynthesis rate. A part of the fractioned light gets reflected. The light that comes back has a small wavelength, thats why it appears blue to us. This process is called iridescence. Not only begonias are able to perform this. Guy holds up a green leaf plant that looks shiny holographic. Leaf has a sheen on it. Flash, indoors.
