Seeing Mirror (2021) is an interactive installation powered by a Raspberry Pi Zero WH, Google’s AIY Vision Bonnet, and the Pi Camera Module. An LCD monitor sits behind a one-way pane of glass and displays a bounding box around the viewer’s face. The project demonstrates how our devices “view” us through the use of machine learning and facial recognition. Guy demonstrates how the smart mirror he made works. There is a rectangle on the glass that tracks his face.
Car enter long tunnel. Car wiper on because of rain. This is the Anton Anderson Memorial tunnel right outside of Whittier Alaska, my dad and I visited Alaska last August and saw it for the first time, it’s the longest tunnel in North America at 2 1/2 miles long and is only a one-way tunnel so cars going in the town, cars going out of the town and trains all have to take turns in the tunnel.
