Dog carries log for 7 miles
Bryce and I are training for across country hike. He picked up a stick at the beginning of our walk, and carried it for 14 miles. It made so many people day, and everybody had something to say about it. Vanessa Keating, a 32-year-old seasonal camp host, and her six-year-old companion Bryce (affectionately known as Beeboo), were hiking on the coastal trail in Anchorage, Alaska, on July 9th, 2024. Bryce has a passion for collecting anything he can carry, such as sticks, leaves, stuffed animals, and especially balls. He always finds treasures during their hikes and insists on bringing them home. His enthusiastic collecting often draws comments from strangers, who always end up smiling or laughing at his antics. On this particular day, they hiked an impressive 14 miles, with Bryce carrying a stick he found along the way. Vanessa's phone died halfway through the hike, but the memory of the adventure remains vivid. They are cross-country hikers, currently training for their next 2,000-mile journey, and Bryce loves his "big walks"!
