    Submitter films timelapse of stars

    So i recorded it using my nothing phone 3a, used pro photography mode and kept capturing images for 7 hours, captured 564 frames and combined them into a video, it shows 29 frames per second. Pretty hard to film the stars here since its always cloudy or too much light pollution but luckily i got the chance after waiting for year for a better hardware.     Just before christmas in Norway, there was a beautiful mother of pearl-clouds phenomenon one night! These are pretty rare, and I´ve never seen them as bright as this! So i went ahead and recorded a timelapse of the sunset with the dramatic and colorful clouds, it was really beautiful <3

    I was walking down the street, heading to my university, when I suddenly realised that the sunlight was making this weird effect with the clouds, making it seem there was a second sun or a source of light. I thought it was pretty cool!

    My city is right in between two other cities that regularly get storms in the summer. And so you can watch them go north or south of us without getting wet or struck by lightning haha. Lake Michigan causes these storms in the summer and in the winter it causes Lake effect snow. Pretty great place if you like filming storms like I do. Usually I will drive to one of the many inland lakes around here to get an extra good view of the passing storms. It's incredible when you can catch them rolling in from lake Michigan. But I digress. Just an awesome clip of a lightning strike I got a few days ago from the balcony of my apartment.
