A dream encounter: a fever of mobula rays, also known as devil rays, migrating to Cabo. These mesmerizing creatures gather in large groups, or ‘fevers,’ to increase their chances of finding mates and to stay protected from predators. As the waters around Cabo San Lucas warm and become rich with plankton, the rays migrate to this region, following food sources and taking advantage of the favorable conditions for feeding and reproduction.

This is a manta Ray dive in Kona Hawaii. This dive was with jacks dive locker. The reason the manta rays swim over you is because we are holding flashlights up in the water and this dive is at night. So all the plankton gather over the light since they are attracted to it and because of this the manta rays will swoop above and in front of you to eat all the plankton. Large grey ray swims over the guy underwater. Night time, flash, lights, animal, underwater, fish.
